  1. CLONGAMHNA - is the name of a ranch recently divided in Killallon

    GORTANLEITÍN - is the name of a field in Killallon. In Loughenderg, Killallon there is a field with a cross in the centre of it. Long ago, there was a duel fought there between two men and one was killed. The cross marks the place of the fight.

    CLONHEST - the road leading from Glenidan crossroads northwards is called Clonhest road. It gets its name because people believed it was frequented by fairies.

    SLIABH DUBH - is the name of a townsland in Scurlogstown. Corn Bán, Sliabh Bán and Sliabh bhFuillinn are the names of three hills in Lough Crew. Tradition tells us that there is a witch on each of these hills. These witches cursed Loughs, Ramor, Derravaragh and Shielan. On CORN BÁN Ollamh Fodhla us supposed to have been buried.

    POLL A PHÚCHA is an old road that goes through land in Dromone and ends at Gotloney school.

    AIRGETEGAL is the name of a hill in Loughenderg Killallon, Clonmellon.
