- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)was something very strange about him for he never stopped crying.
Soon after the people knew that he was a fairy and that their own child was in the place of him. They heard that if they went to the lake and brought two rods with them and when they had the first rod put down along with the fairy child they would get him but if the woman of the house spoke a word while they were away they would not get back the child.
The people did not delay in going for the child and before the they went they warned the woman not to speak.
Then they were gone the woman sat at the fire thinking of her child but she was disturbed by a timid tap on the window and a fairy voice saying to her "you are sitting there and your child going to be drowned in the lake." Immediately(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
