Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)seventeenth century. His name was Ralph Desbrook. This was a terrible bad man who took delight in gathering all the Catholics to his house at night and putting the poor people to all the torture he could. He erected a gallows in front of the door and he used to hang the fathers and mothers in front of their children. It is supposed that the man comes back at different times of the year driving on a coach and four the horses having no heads. This coach makes a terrible rumbling noise with big chains dragging after it.
One old man met this coach in the lane and was found lying on the grass unconscious next morning. Another story goes on to say that the house is often seen in flames and is never burned; another says that there are always terrible weird noises inside the house(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
