    Long ago the old people believed that the fairies came during the night and took the milk from the cows.
    One night a very old man stayed up to watch what should happen.
    About midnight a fairy came and without ever milking the cow he got the milk he disappeared in the shape of a hare.
    If one wished for another not to have butter or milk it would come true long ago.
