  1. There is an old "tramp" that used to go around our district long ago whose name was "Biddy the Tea" as everyone called her, because she was very, very fond of tea. She lodged in Mooney's of Trimblestown about twenty years ago. Her mother's name was "Big Susan" and she was always with her too.
    Another was Billy Healy and he was very foolish. Noone liked him for he was to cross.
    Pat the Quick was another traveller. He went round Athboy and gathered all the children with him and played bones so that each one gave him a penny.
