    Food is put outside the door for a week after a person dies in the country. If its gone in the morning they believe the dead took it as living people would be afraid to touch this food.
    They say the dead are sometimes sent back to do their purgatory on earth. therefore they need clothes so when they die their clothes are given to a friend to wear three Sunday's running at Mass and pray for the dead person. The first sunday a near friend throws holy water on the dead persons clothes
