It is generally in the spring that the horses are clipped. There is a man from Drogheda who goes around clipping the horses. This man's name is Frank Duggan. - We keep fowl at home. The hens are kept in the henhouse. In the henhouse there are two roosts which the hens sleep on during the night. There is also hay in the henhouse to keep the fowl warm.
There are two nests in boxes in which the hens lay. There is hay in the box and a delph egg with which to coax the hen to lay.
