    candles and to make lights they used rush lights. They made the lights in this way. They would peel the skin of the rushes and leave them to dry. When they would be dry they would rub tallow to them and then they would lave them to dry again. At the end of a week the rushes would be fit to use as lights.

    There are many old industries which still exist in our village. The old industries which still enist in the village are, basket-making, rug-making glove-making and whip-making.
    The old industries which have died out are mat-making, straw-hat-making.
