home and the neighbour came there again in a few hours, and he found the black stick where he had often seen it before. Gold is also supposed to be buried beside the old castle of Castlepark. Four or five men went searching for it one Sunday after first Mass. They dug down until they came to a large flat stone. When they were about to lift it they heard a great noise like a bull roaring. They got afraid and ran away. When they came there again after a few hours the hole was shut up again and the grass growing over it.
