  1. There is Gold supposed to be buried under a tree in the football field near the School. Some (d) time ago a few men went to see if they could get it. Before the went to look for it a few of the neighbours told them to ask .Fr. Hayes if it would be right for them to search for it. They did not do as they were told so when they went to dig for it they were hunted by the fairies. No one ever since went to look for it and it is supposed to be there still.
