    fair day is wet since Fr. Sheehy was hanged on a fair day at Clonmel. Every 100 years a meeting is held at Shanahan Churchyard where Fr. Sheehy was buried, the last meeting was in 1898. There were bands and banners from all over Ireland in memory of Father Sheehy.
