   As I have already mentioned the woman was very old, and she asked the man as a favour that if on the event of her death he received a message to come for her and take here to her native place for burial, would he do so.
   He promised, more to please as he thought the whim of an old lady, than with the intention of carrying out his promise. Time passed and a message reached him giving intimation of the old lady's death, but of this he took no notice. In the autumn of the same year he happend to be in his potato garden; dusk was at hand: and suddenly there appeared an old woman on the ridge some distance from him.
   He suddenly realised that she was the old woman, to whom he had made the promise, and remembering his dereliction he darted for the door, which he secured behind him. The man lived alone. On a later occasion the same incident occurred, but on this occasion a large stone wall collapsed just as he had passed by it. (This wall was shown to me by the relator of this story)
