  1. Rock is situated on road from Cork to Donoughmore via Cloghroe, about two miles from latter.
    Tradition says Mass often said here in Penal times. Hills surround the place and on a few occasions an Aeridheact has been held there. A peculiar feature of the rock is an oversize impression of a human head as shown in accompanying photograph. The nose, eye, mouth and chin are especially noticeable.
