Ar an leathanach seo

  1. Long ago when copper mines were worked in Roaring Water, there was a great number of people working in them. At night all the people used gather together playing cards. Two men named Murphy and Hourihane used win all the games and money. One night Murphy stayed at home and Hourihane went as usual. He and an other man were partners and Hourihane lost all the games. On his road home that night he said he would find out was it he or his partner were the luckier and as it was a bright moon night he sat on a rock and dealt out the cards for two. He then took up one hand of cards, and was about to take up the other hand of cards, when a hand was reached to him and and he saw a man with horns and a tail. He threw the cards from him and ran home. The cards were on the rock next morning and some one went to pick them up but could not stir
