There is no scarcety of limestone here because the hill of Fairymount is composed of limestone. The only drawback is that there is no sand and on this account it is hard for people to build houses because they have a long distance to go for sand.
There is not much water in this townland and whenever a very dry Summer comes all the wells go down and then water is very scarce.
