  1. Once a stupid man was getting married and it was two young men that were making the match. When it was near the marriage day the men told the man that she was lame in one leg. The man paused for for a minute. "Well" said the man "Tisent for a race horse I want her,."
They were going to get married and the man thought when a person was getting married that all a person had to do was to jump over a besom. On the day of marriage when they were at the Rails the man asked for the besom and the (man) woman though that the the man was mad. She called him besom ever since. 11 · 7 · '38
