    The Horse, Cow, Goat, Sheep, Turkey, Hen, Duck, Pig, Chicken, Goose, Dog, Cat, Donkey etc. all live on the farm.
    Most of then answer to certain names or sounds, e.g.
    Cow - Tchay
    Horse - Dick, Billy, etc.
    Goat - Kiddy
    Sheep - Hutchie
    Donkey - Neddy
    Pig - Hush
    Dog - Shep, Spot, Bran, etc.
    Cat - Pussy
    Duck - Tweetie
    Hen - Tiuc
    Chicken - Birdie
    Turkey - Pea, Pea
    Goose - Goosey, Goosey
    The cowhouse or byre is a long building with thatched roof. The cows are tied in bales by the neck.
