  1. AILMENT CURE
    Toothache - Baking Soda is a cure for Toothache, also Salt Petre
    Eyes - Black Tea is a cure for sore eyes
    Ears - Wadding soaked in Whiskey is a cure for sore ears
    Head - A tight Bandage round the head cures a Headache
    Throat - Salt is put in an old stocking to make a poultice to cure a sore throat. Tie the stocking which has been worn during the day round the neck at night and the throat will be well in the morning.
