    All go to Church. Christmas greetings are exchanged etc.
    Christmas cards & gifts are received. The day is spent quietly, most people staying in their own homes with their families.
    NEW YEAR'S DAY
    People make good resolutions for the coming year. Men go hunting and shooting. There are New Year parties held in some of the houses. No work is done on the farm.
