  1. John Dormer was a cooper, and he used to make churns and barrels. He used to first plane the staves and then put up the model. Then he put in the staves, all in their own places. He then hooped it. Then he used to put in the bottom and lid, put the churn in a frame, and put on the handle, and the churn was finished.
