    they ran after him and followed him through Aughnacloy. Pat Mc Kenna thought it was the devil that went after him. He went boarded a ship in Belfast and left the country.
    The English soldiers came and dug up the treasure which consisted of valuable vessels and a little bag of gold. It was said that an old woman hid it there one night when she was going to be robbed.
    Another treasure is said to be hidden in Killyearn School House about two miles from our house. A school master hid over two thousand pounds in or about this school when the English were plundering Ireland. This school is closed now and a Mr Anderson and his family live in it. Many people tried to find this treasure but their efforts failed. Its place of concealment is still unknown.
