    stepping stones that were leading into the well. The stones were brought and laid by his orders outside his hall door.
    The next morning the stones were again found at Weather's Well and Crosbie was found paralysed in bed. From that day on, nobody has ever dared to interfere with the well.
    Holy pictures, little crosses, statues, flowers and drinking mugs are left at Blessed wells as relics by pilgrims, who come to pay their "rounds" there.
