He thought if he had this hare he could make a fortune on it, so he asked the old man would he sell the hare.
At first the old man said he would not sell the hare for any money. Then the other man offered a hundred pounds for the hare and the old man offered to sell it at the price.
When the man had paid for the hare he took it home with him. He had a number of men working on his farm at home.
At dinner time next day he took the hare he had bought, rubbed it over the head and told it to go up the fields and tell the workmen to come to dinner. Then he let off the hare.
A long time passed and the men did not come to the dinner, so the man went up to the workmen and asked them why didn't(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
