The ghost suddenly disappeared and Paddy went out and hid the pot of gold and the tablecloth.

On his way he met a tinker. The tinker told him that he was very hungry.. Pat laid out the tablecloth and the tinker and he sat down and ate. When they had water the tinker gave Paddy a budget and he told paddy that if he would ever be in danger to open the budget and to let out the army that was in it.
Again Paddy set off taking the budget, the tablecloth and the gold with him.
When he reaches hom Kitty was out meet him and asked him how did he get on. Paddy told her the whole story and the whole family sat down and ate a hearty meal.
