"There was a man there long ago and he was very rich."There was a man there long ago and he was very rich. All of a sudden he got poor. All his cows and calves died, but one cow and after a while she died too. Then he had no milk or anything. One fine morning he was walking out and he saw a fine blue cow standing outside in the bán.
He went in and told his wife what would he do. The wife told him to put her into the cowhouse and he did. When he came in he told his wife to milk her. The wife went out milking her and she had to big pails of milk. After nine months she had calves. In a year again he was rich as ever. The neighbours got surprised how did he get rich so soon. One day one of the neighbours came in and asked him where did he get the fine cow.
So he told him the story, and he said he would be rich for ever now. The next morning he heard the cow bellowing outside in the bán and the calves with her. He ran out after her and the cow and the calves ran away out into the sea and was seen no more.
