Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)told her that when cutting a lone bush in the forth he got a thorn in his hand. His wife was very much annoyed and she again told him that he should not have interfered with the forth. He said, "Nothing will happen me." But in a few days the hand became swollen and before a week he was dead. Since then the forth has been left alone.
This is another story I heard my grandfather relate. He was coming off his Ceilidhe one night and as he was passing by a forth three lovely dressed ladies came walking towards him with walking sticks. They were talking and laughing and seemed to be enjoying themselves very much.
