  2. Forts
    There is a fort in Scardawn. It is situated in James Ward's hill, and there is a good view from it. It is about one hundred and eight yards round about, and its width is about twenty eight yards. It is surrounded with bushes, and there is a circle of earth inside. there is a hollow in the middle of it also.
