    I heard my mother Teresa Golden, Cordessy Peyton, Keshcarragan, say that this is a cure for the stye.
    Get ten goose - berry thorns. Throw away one of them, and point the other nine to the stye, and make the sign of the cross while doing so. Then throw away the nine thorns across your right shoulder; then put them in a place where they will rot, and in a fortnight the stye will be gone.
