  1. The house that the horse lives in is called the stable. The horse is fed with hay. He must get a drink before he gets his fodder. It is the smith that does the shoeing. The horse must be clipped very often. There was a horse in Sligo years ago whose name was Buck-shot he used to win a lot of prizes at rasing. One day when he was running he went wild and he killed the rider. Then he was going to be shout and a man gave the owner five pounds for him. Then he took him and kept him in a stable for seven years.
