- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)The people long ago used not to give money or stock to others on a Monday because they said that it was unlucky and this is true even to-day. People never kill an animal on Good Fridays also. The people usually do not buy or see on a Sunday as it is said the other days are more suitable for business. The markets used to be held near a church and it is the same custom to-day in this district. Sometimes the pedlers and hucsters and fish-mongers called out their wives in the street. There is a place in this district called "Fish Market" and long ago many mongers called out "buy fish". They do great trade even to day. People say that a three-penny-bit is very unlucky and a half-crown is the luckiest coin possible.
