Ar an leathanach seo

  1. A temporary monument to Christ the King was erected in the year 1930. It was planned to build a big statue to Christ the King; but as they had not enough funds a temporary one was erected. It is three-sided, surmounted with a golden ball and a cross. It acts as an advirstisment more than anything else because on each of the three sides, there is written in, Irish, English, and Spanish, a message beseeching the people to give a subscription to help to build the big monument to Christ the King.
    Oppsite the Carlisle Pier, there is a monument, in comemoration of the visit, of King George IV, to
