  1. There is a yellow flower which grows in drains called the Pile Wart and it is a cure for Piles it was got boiled and strained and then it was drunk.
    The cure for a cold was get Garlick and boil the root of it in milk then it was drunk. This was a cure for a cold in olden times.
    The milk which is obtained from the stalk of the Dandelion when applied to a wart cures it.
    Wild Carrots boiled for three hours then take a glass full of them every day is said to be a cure for the kidneys.
    Cowslips used be boiled like tea to drink them was the cure for insomnia.
    Boiled Nettles were used as a remedy to purify the blood.
    To eat Water Cress raw with salt was also a remedy to purify the blood.
    Senna Leaves to boil them and use them like tea was a cure for worms. The Red Carrot was used for Rhuematism.
