  1. Planten Leaf is a great cure for a cut. If you get Planten Leaf and chew it and put it on the cut it will not swell.
    Marsh Mallows was a great cure for a sprain or a swelling it keeps down swelling.
    Mrs. Transom who lived in the Square in Lucan used to fry cowdung in Lard for poultries.
    To cure a sty on the eye get a thorn of a gooseberry bush and point it to your eye three times it will dissappear.
    If you have a wart get a hair of a horse's tail or mane and tie it around the wart it will disappear after nine days.
