Mr. Hughes who works as gardener in St. Edmundsbury was returning from work some days after Mr. Stubb's burial and he met Mr. Stubbs walking in the grounds around the old mansion and for the moment he forgot he was dead and was just going to stop and speak to him when it dawned on him that it was his ghost and he ran to his own home whre the cold perspiration stood on his brow
