- A short time ago a man in Carralackey named Tom Sheridan was told that in one of his fields called "The Braclach" there were many kings and queens buried. He became interested in the matter so together with his brother-in-law they began to dig. They dug for two days but in vain they found nothing but on the third day they found a fish-shaped iron.
They thought it must be something that was buried with some king or queen. Later on they got some finger and hand bones but they dug no longer as they got nothing of any account for their work.
This field is owned by Tom Sheridan, 52, Carralackey, Kilmovee, Ballaghaderreen, Co Mayo.- Collector
