  1. Wakes.
People practised funny games and customs in bygone days. When a person dies they all gathered into the house and remained there during the night. During the day all the people who came to the house would first apoligise with the people of the house on account of their trouble and then they would gather round the corpse and cry for a half-an hour then as the night came they were afraid of the corpse to go home in the dark so they remained in the house all night till day break came.
