    Some of the principal names of the travellers are firstly the people who worked singly, "Old Mike", "the Rogue" or Pat Hennessy and Jim Keeffe who used to do tricks with handerchiefs and cards.
    The people who went in batches are, "The Twins" who were said to be two rich people, The Murphy's, Boyle's, Walshe's, and lastly the Martin brothers who numbered three and who gave performances of crude dancing and singing to make their living.
