    There is also a field owned by the same man, on the Callan-road near Newtown, called the gipsy-field. The name was given to this field because the gypsies used to come gathering tráthníns in it.
    There is another field belonging to Mr. Hutchinson on the Carrick-road, behind Thomas Butler's house, called the pea-field. This name was given to it, because people used to grow peas in that field.
