- There is a lonely boithrin in the district of Coolagh near Callan. This boithrin is called the "bóithrin an Aifreann" and is about one and a half miles long. It is also called Kyle-a-Threra.
In the penal times, Mass was celebrated there, as it was such a lonely place. All the people of that district used to go to Mass there.
