    There is a road leading to Dunnamaggin called the Haggard road. This is in the southern direction of Kells.
    The road in the eastern direction of Kells is called the Church road, and it leads to Stoneyford and Stone-Carthy.
    The Kilkenny road lies in the northern point of Kells and it is called the Kilkenny road.
    It is said that the Crab Road was made to give employment to the people during the famine years 1846-1848
