  1. When my grandfather was a boy he was working at Mr. Hutchinson's farm and one night he was coming home about half past ten when he saw something black in one of the fields.
    It was a ploughed field in which mangolds were growing.
    He went out into the field as he thought it might be some horse that was eating the mangolds there.
