  1. In the February of 1897 there was a severe storm. It lasted over twenty four hours. It did big damages, roofs, slates, and chimneys were blown of houses, and hundreds of trees were blown down.
    About fifty six years ago there was a frightful thunder-storm. It lasted nearly twenty hours.
    Some people were killed as their houses fell, and many animals were found dead.
    In the year 1788 there was a desperate downpour of rain. It fell so
