  1. One night long-ago, my grandfather was going to the fair of Limerick. There was another man with him. They had ten cattle. The night was dark and bad. It was very hard to take the cattle because they went in every gap that they met. They lost one of them and could not get him for a long time.
    As they were going in towards Limerick, about five o'clock in the morning, they heard a terrible cry and they looked in over a ditch and saw two white
