  1. There are fairs in nearly every village and town every month. There is a fair green in the big towns. Cows, cattle and sheep are sold at the cattle fairs. There is a special fair in the month for horses. Pigs are not sold at fairs now but bonhams are. The pigs are taken to the factories now. When a person is selling anything the neighbours gather around to make the bargain. When the beast is sold it is marked. When a person is selling a horse it is lucky
