    The people of the present time are more careful about their feet than in olden times. The baby now has to get a pair of shoes the moment it is able to stand on the floor. They seldom or ever leave them off, except the country children, for a few months in the summer. The children in olden times got no shoes till they were twelve years of ago and theses shoes were made from
