    Potatoes
    Long ago the people sowed more potatoes than they do now. It was all potatoes they used then. They made starch from them. They tilled the ground with timber ploughs. They had better crops. They made bread from the potatoes, which they called potato-bread. The potatoes had to be boiled before the bread was made. The land is ploughed and harrowed before the potatoes are
