The Care of the Feet
Long ago very few people wore boots. Boots were worn only for a couple of months in winter They made them from skins of animals. At that time people went out hunting and when they killed an animal they skinned it and made boots from the skin. The rich people made boots which they called clogs, with timber soles and leather uppers. They washed their feet very often. Nobody wore boots until they were(continues on next page)- Collector
