- The swallows fly low to feed on the flies when the clouds are heavy and the flies are near the earth. The flying of pismires is the sign that the weather is going to break. When it is going to freeze the night is very bright and starry. When it is going to rain the clouds get dark and gloomy. It is a good sign of fine weather when we see spring wells flowing strong. When we see the seagulls coming in from the sea it is a sign that there is going a storm.
