The swallow is a summer friend, though they do not rank high as songsters. If swallows fly near the ground it is a sign of rain. The swallows tail is forked. It makes its nest under the eaves of houses.
The lark is very clever when it is about to land into nest, it hovers over the nest until it sees that the coast is clear, and then very silently ships into its nest. The lark soars high in the sky to sing its song.
