    21-3- 38 returned in the evening with plates and dishes .She told Mrs Clune she was very tankful to her. She said if she was ever in trouble she would help her if she could.The little woman said she was a fairy woman and that she and other fairies were visiting the fairies in Power's Fort of Creevagh and that they were going to Ballymsclune Fort next day .She then disappeared.
    This was told to me b,y Mrs.Meaney ,Creevagh ,Quin ,Co Clare.

  2. A Story.
    There was a man living in Miltown ,Tulla Co.Clare ,who used never have any potatoes ,only black and small ones.His neighbour ,whose garden was very near his used to have ricks of good potatoes.The man who used to have the potatoes which used to be bad went to a card-cutter who was living near Miltown and told her he used to have very bad potatoes and his neighbour used to have ricks of of good ones.She told him when he would be ploughing the first scribe for the potatoes the
